Accessibility Statement
Alpha Eagle Roofing is committed to making our website usable by everyone — including the Bay Area's deaf, hard-of-hearing, blind, low-vision, and motor-impaired visitors.
1. Our commitment
Alpha Eagle Roofing believes our website should welcome and inform every Bay Area homeowner and property manager who visits it, regardless of ability. We work to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and to honor our obligations under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the California Unruh Civil Rights Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 51 et seq.). Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we treat it as a feature of the Site — not an afterthought.
2. Standard we follow
Our internal target for alphaeagleroofing.com is conformance with the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG defines requirements that make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, speech, and neurological disabilities.
3. Features we've implemented
- Semantic HTML with proper landmark roles (
banner, navigation, main, contentinfo) for assistive-technology navigation. - Visible focus indicators on every interactive element; keyboard navigation supported throughout the Site, including mobile menu and form fields.
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG 2.1 AA minimums for text and interactive components.
- Alternative text on informative images; decorative imagery hidden from assistive tech with
aria-hidden. - Form labels associated with inputs, descriptive error messages, and ARIA
liveregions to announce form submission status. - Captions and transcripts on all video content where used.
- Resizable text — the Site supports browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- "Skip to content" link and a logical heading structure on every page.
- Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query — animations are reduced or disabled when the visitor's operating system requests reduced motion. - Touch targets sized to a 44 × 44 pixel minimum in compliance with WCAG 2.5.5.
4. Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content on the Site may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. Areas where we're actively working to improve include:
- Third-party request form (Jobber Client Hub) embedded on the Schedule Inspection page — operated by a third-party provider whose accessibility we cannot control directly. We offer a phone alternative on the same page, plus the option to open the form in a new tab if the embed does not render in your browser.
- Older project-gallery photographs without manually authored long descriptions — we are progressively adding descriptive captions to legacy imagery.
- Embedded Google Maps — the underlying map component is owned by Google and may not be fully accessible; our service-area pages list each city in plain text as an accessible alternative.
If you encounter any accessibility barrier on the Site that is not listed here, please tell us using the feedback channels in Section 5 — we treat each report as a bug and prioritize it.
5. Feedback & assistance
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of alphaeagleroofing.com and we want to hear from you if you encounter accessibility barriers:
- Email: accessibility@alphaeagleroofing.com
- Phone: (415) 410-7917 (Monday–Saturday, 7am–7pm Pacific; 24/7 for emergencies)
When you contact us, please describe the page you were on, the issue you encountered, and the assistive technology (if any) you were using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days.
6. Alternate formats
If any information on the Site is not accessible to you in its current form — for example, you'd like an estimate read aloud over the phone, a contract in larger print, or a written transcript of any audio content — contact us and we will provide an accessible alternative free of charge.
7. Third-party content
Some portions of the Site rely on third-party services that we do not own — including the Jobber Client Hub booking form, Google Maps, Google Analytics, and embedded review widgets. While we choose partners that take accessibility seriously, we cannot guarantee the conformance of their products. Where a third-party feature creates a barrier, we provide an accessible alternative (phone, email, or native form) so the same outcome is reachable without using the third-party feature.
