Your roof project with us
Six stages, from the first visit to the warranty in your hands. You always know what happens next and who to call.
-
A free inspection
A licensed roofer walks the roof, checks the decking, flashing, vents and gutters, and photographs what they find. You see the same photos we see.
-
A written, itemized estimate
Scope of work, materials, warranty terms and price, in writing. No pressure to sign on the spot and no price guessing over the phone.
The contract includes the notices California requires, and the deposit stays within the legal limit.
-
Permit pulled for you
Most Bay Area cities require a permit to replace a roof. We apply for it, handle the paperwork, and book the inspections. How we handle roofing permits.
-
Install day, with your home protected
We tell you the start date ahead of time, cover plants and walkways, keep the driveway clear, and clean up at the end of each work day. If weather turns, the roof is dried in before we leave.
Every stage is photo-documented: before, during and after, including the parts of the roof you will never see once the new one is on.
-
Final inspection and walkthrough
The city inspector signs off the permit, and we walk the finished job with you so nothing is left unanswered.
-
Your written warranty
You receive the warranty in writing, along with the job photos for your records, your insurer, or a future buyer. Read our warranty.

- Check the license
- In California, any roofing job of $1,000 or more (labor and materials combined), or any job that needs a permit, requires a CSLB-licensed contractor. A roofer should hold the C-39 Roofing classification. Look up any contractor at cslb.ca.gov before you sign. Ours is #1148511.
- Deposit cap: $1,000 or 10%
- On a home improvement contract, the down payment may not be more than $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less (B&P Code §7159.5). After that, payments should not get ahead of the work completed or materials delivered.
- Three days to cancel
- If you sign a home improvement contract in your home, you generally have until midnight of the third business day to cancel. The contract must include a notice explaining this right.
- Get it in writing
- Home improvement contracts must be written and include the scope of work, the price, the payment schedule, start and completion dates, and the CSLB notices. If a roofer will not put it in writing, keep looking.
Questions homeowners ask us
How do I check that Alpha Eagle Roofing is licensed?
Look up license #1148511 on the California Contractors State License Board website (cslb.ca.gov). The record shows the C-39 Roofing classification, the license status, the contractor bond and workers' compensation information.
How much deposit do you ask for?
California law caps the down payment on a home improvement contract at $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less (Business and Professions Code section 7159.5). We follow that rule, and after the deposit we only bill for work that has actually been done or materials that have been delivered.
Can you give me a price over the phone?
No. Two roofs that look alike can need very different work once someone is up there. We price from a free inspection and give you a written, itemized estimate, so the number you sign is the number you can rely on.
Do you pull the permit for a reroof?
Yes. Most Bay Area cities require a building permit to replace a roof. We check what your city requires, apply for the permit, and schedule the inspections. The permit fee is set by your city and shown on your estimate.
