Roof Warranty: 25-Year Workmanship + Up to 50-Year Manufacturer Coverage
Every qualifying new roof we install comes with our own 25-year workmanship warranty, and eligible GAF and CertainTeed systems add up to 50 years of manufacturer coverage. Everything is in writing before work starts.
Two warranties protect your roof
Most real roof failures come from installation, not from defective materials. That is why we warranty our own work separately from the manufacturer.
25-year workmanship warranty
Our own written warranty on qualifying new roof installations. It covers how the roof was built: fastening, flashing, sealing, underlayment and every detail we installed.
If our workmanship causes a leak or failure within 25 years, we repair it at no cost to you.
Up to 50 years manufacturer coverage
Covers defects in the roofing materials themselves. As a GAF Certified contractor, we can register the GAF System Plus Limited Warranty on eligible roofs. As a CertainTeed ShingleMaster, we can also offer CertainTeed SureStart PLUS 3-Star coverage.
We handle the manufacturer registration for you after the job is finished.

Product eligibility, installation requirements, registration and exclusions are confirmed in your written proposal and contract, so you know exactly what you get.
Every job is photo-documented before, during and after, which makes any future claim simple.
The GAF System Plus Limited Warranty
Available only through GAF Certified, Certified Plus and Master Elite contractors. Here is what GAF's own documents say it adds.
- 50-year non-prorated period for manufacturing defects, instead of the standard 10 years.
- Materials and labor: replacement GAF products plus the reasonable cost to install them.
- Tear-off and disposal of the defective materials when needed.
- Transferable once to the next homeowner.
What makes a roof eligible
GAF Lifetime shingles plus at least three qualifying GAF accessory products, installed by a GAF Certified contractor and registered with GAF.
The Lifetime term with 50 years non-prorated applies to single-family detached homes owned by individuals. Other owners and building types get 40 years with 20 years non-prorated.
CertainTeed SureStart PLUS 3-Star coverage
Alpha Eagle Roofing is a CertainTeed ShingleMaster™ credentialed roofing company. CertainTeed only lets credentialed contractors offer SureStart PLUS coverage. Here is what CertainTeed says 3-Star adds.
- Up to 50 years non-prorated materials and labor coverage for manufacturing defects on a single-family home, instead of the standard 10-year SureStart period.
- Tear-off and disposal of defective materials included.
- Applies to a CertainTeed Integrity Roof System installed by a credentialed contractor. Some shingle lines (for example XT™25) carry a shorter term.
- Workmanship is not part of 3-Star. Our own 25-year workmanship warranty covers the installation.

How to make a warranty claim

- We schedule an inspection and find the cause.
- Workmanship issues are repaired as written in your contract. For a material defect, we help you file the claim with the manufacturer.

What warranty comes with a new roof from Alpha Eagle Roofing?
Qualifying new roof installations come with two warranties: our own 25-year workmanship warranty, which covers how the roof was installed, and a manufacturer warranty on the materials. On eligible systems the manufacturer coverage runs up to 50 years. Both are confirmed in your written proposal and contract.
What does the 25-year workmanship warranty cover?
It covers the installation work we performed on a qualifying new roof: fastening, flashing, sealing, underlayment and the details we built. If a leak or failure is caused by our workmanship during the 25 years, we come back and repair it at no charge, as written in your contract.
What is the GAF System Plus Limited Warranty?
It is a GAF manufacturer warranty that GAF Certified contractors like Alpha Eagle Roofing can register. When a roof uses GAF Lifetime shingles plus at least three qualifying GAF accessories, it extends the non-prorated period to 50 years for manufacturing defects, including replacement materials and the reasonable cost to install them, and it can be transferred once to the next owner.
Is the 50-year coverage the same for every home?
No. Per GAF's terms, the Lifetime term and 50-year non-prorated period apply to a single-family detached home owned by individuals. For other owners or building types, GAF states a 40-year warranty with a 20-year non-prorated period. We confirm which applies to your property in the proposal.
Do you offer a CertainTeed warranty?
Yes. Alpha Eagle Roofing is a CertainTeed ShingleMaster credentialed roofing company, so on an eligible CertainTeed Integrity Roof System we can offer SureStart PLUS 3-Star coverage. Per CertainTeed, it extends non-prorated materials and labor coverage for manufacturing defects up to 50 years on a single-family home and adds tear-off and disposal. It does not cover workmanship; our own 25-year workmanship warranty covers that. Some shingle lines carry a shorter term, so we confirm the exact coverage in your proposal.
Can I transfer the warranty if I sell my home?
The GAF System Plus Limited Warranty can be transferred once to the next homeowner. Transfer terms for our workmanship warranty are written in your warranty document. Ask us before you list the home and we will send the paperwork.
What is not covered?
Warranties do not cover damage from storms beyond normal conditions, falling trees or debris, fire, or work done on the roof later by others. That kind of damage is usually an insurance matter.
