What warranty comes with a new roof from Alpha Eagle?

Every qualifying new roof installation comes with two separate, written warranties:

• Alpha Eagle 25-year workmanship warranty (installation). Covers how the roof was built: fastening, flashing, sealing, underlayment and the details we installed. If our workmanship causes a leak or failure within 25 years, we repair it at no charge, as written in your contract.
• Manufacturer warranty (materials), up to 50 years. As a GAF Certified contractor, we can register the GAF System Plus Limited Warranty on eligible roofs (GAF Lifetime shingles plus at least three qualifying GAF accessories). Per GAF’s brochure, it gives a 50-year non-prorated period for manufacturing defects, covering replacement materials and the reasonable cost to install them, and can be transferred once to the next owner. We handle the registration at job completion.

The two warranties cover different failure modes: the manufacturer covers material defects; we cover installation issues (for example, a nail driven too high or a flashing detail done wrong).

What is not covered: storm damage beyond normal conditions, falling trees or debris, foot-traffic damage and later work by other contractors. Those are usually insurance events.
