“Free inspection” can mean anything from a quick look from the driveway to a full report. Here is exactly what ours includes.
How does it work?
- Book a time. Request one at our quote page or call (415) 410-7917. Visits run Monday to Saturday, and we confirm by text.
- A licensed roofer checks the whole roof, not just the spot you noticed, and photographs what they find. The photos are stored in CompanyCam, so you can see what we saw.
- You get a written estimate with the scope, materials, warranty and price, plus repair and replacement options where both make sense.
What do you check?
- Flashing at walls, chimneys, skylights and parapets, where most leaks start.
- Pipe and vent boots and other penetrations.
- Valleys, ridges and the field of the roof: lifted, cracked or missing shingles or tiles, and granule loss.
- On flat roofs: membrane seams, blisters, ponding, parapet caps, scuppers and drains.
- Gutters and downspouts, and whether water is getting away from the house.
- Where we can get in: attic ventilation and any staining or soft spots on the underside of the deck.
Is there any catch?
No obligation. The photos and written estimate are yours to keep whether or not you hire us. If the roof only needs a repair, we will say so; see repair or replace. In heavy rain we may hold off climbing a steep or slick roof for safety and look from inside first.
What if the roof is leaking now?
